Serving the underserved: Women and Wealth

Posted by House 337

Welcome to the first event in our Serving the Underserved series, created to shine a light on audiences that financial services have typically overlooked.

Later in the year we’ll talk about Gen Z and how their vastly different money behaviours require a different approach from financial brands. We’ll also look at how the rise of niche banking has raised the benchmark for the industry when looking at how they best serve all of their customers.

But we’re starting with a big one – Women and Wealth.

By 2025 women are expected to control 60% of the world’s wealth but right now only 23% of women are investing, meaning there’s never been a better time to proactively speak to a female audience.

Dulcie Omonubi, Engine’s Director of Innovation and Growth Consulting will sit down with guest panellists including Emilie Bellet author and founder of The Vestpod and Olga Miler Co-Founder and CEO of SmartPurse. We’ll delve deep into why there’s a lack of female investors, how big the opportunity actually is (think tens of billions!) and just what can be done by the industry to encourage more women to invest.

By the end of the session you’ll not only be inspired to more deeply consider the needs of this commercially lucrative audience, you’ll also have actionable steps for building propositions and brand experiences for targeted engagement.
