If the thought of a customer asking if they can pay by cryptocurrency fills you with dread, then attending this workshop will help explain a lot of the mystery around this new technology.
It is such an expansive topic, and so we will start with understanding the basics and pointing you in the right direction if you want to explore further.
What we’re going to do is a basic overview of blockchain and how it works and then its strengths and weaknesses. Once you understand blockchain, you have a better understanding of cryptocurrency, because blockchain is the technology that underpins cryptocurrencies.
We’ll also look at what is a cryptocurrency and where you can use it, how you store it, and how you trade it. We’ll go into some basic information there too.
We’ll also cover what is an ICO. That stands for Initial Coin Offering. You can learn a little bit more about that industry or that side of the cryptocurrency scene as well.
