BIMA OUTBOUND DELEGATION TO SLUSH, HELSINKI – 20-22 November 2019
Slush is Europe’s leading tech event. Described by many as “Burning Man meets TED”, the event has grown in just a few short years to 15,000 attendees and 1 million live stream viewers. Close to 2,000 start-ups, 800 venture capitalists, and 700 journalists from over 100 countries come to Slush to drive business, and to experience the phenomenal atmosphere.
This outbound trade mission is being managed jointly by BIMA and the Department For International Trade (DIT). We have space for around 10 individuals from the UK’s best interactive and marketing-tech businesses to be part of a special delegation where you can meet investors, international partners and promote your services and businesses.
For 2019 we are offering pre-mission activity in London, a prestigious networking reception with the British Embassy, client and investor matchmaking side events, and access to the extensive Slush official match-making facilities plus networking with over 50 other UK DIT-supported delegates.
Please note, being part of the delegation and associated events is free however you are still required to cover your own travel, accommodation and ticket costs to the festival itself.

Wednesday 20th later afternoon: Round-table tailored networking event, speaker Michael Acton Smith, Founder of Mind Candy and CEO of Calm
Wednesday 20th evening: Official reception and networking – British Embassy / Official Residence
Thursday 21st daytime: Slush Event and meetings – evening delegates dinner
