About the Roundtable:

If you are the head of your client services or account management team in the creative digital space please join us on 20th June at 0830am for the latest breakfast in the CSD breakfast series for an off-the-record round table meeting.

This session, with a presentation by Chris Bilton (University of Warwick) and Linda Green (Leading Creative Talent), picks up on the previous BIMA round table on innovative collaboration with clients, focusing on Leadership for Innovation.

The agency world has moved on from the ‘genius’ model of creativity and innovation. Today we recognise that innovation is as much about transforming the business culture to accommodate and apply innovative ideas as it is about generating new ideas and practices.

Clients may be crying out for ‘innovative solutions’ (especially in digital), but what are the structural and cultural challenges they face in embedding these solutions in their organization? Chris Bilton and Linda Green will review models and case histories of innovation leadership, examining how innovation requires more than new ideas, and how leaders can help or hinder organizational innovation and change. What are the barriers to innovation and how can these be overcome? What components are needed to build an innovative culture? What models of leadership can persuade, influence and inspire clients and their partners to innovate? How can agencies manage upwards to effect digital transformation through and for their clients?

This is a great chance to share your own experiences/views and hear from others in an informal, off the record learning environment.

How to be involved:
Numbers for the breakfast are strictly limited and will be allocated on a first come basis. In the first instance we will limit it to one place per company.

Held under Chatham House Rules, the breakfast is free to BIMA members and is only for CSD and Heads of Account Management in digital agencies.

YOU CANNOT BOOK DIRECTLY ONLINE. PLEASE EMAIL annadoyle@bima.co.uk
