About this Event

What?

BIMA Beat is our platform for digital creatives to showcase their work. It’s got clout – because it’s driven by BIMA’s Creative Council, Sony Music UK’s 4th Floor Creative and Spotify. It builds reputations – every quarter there’s the chance to make the final selection or be crowned the quarter’s winner by some of the best in the business. And it’s a safe, rewarding space – we launched BIMA Beat to support and galvanise the UK digital creativity community, so taking part is all about the positivity.

Our Web 2021 event will be celebrating the best creative expressions made with web-based technologies. From next-gen editorial to immersive storytelling, from the smartest mobile experiences to the most interactive 3D environments, from the coolest CSS trickery to surprising JavaScript interactivity.

There’ll be some incredible, inspirational work on display, including our picks based on your submissions – you don’t want to miss it.

We’ll be announcing our speakers very soon!

Fred Flade – Independent design consultant

Inspired by the creativity of the British design scene, Fred moved from Germany to London in the late 90ties, studying visual communication design at Ravensbourne College. Fred was design director at two leading digital agencies, Deepend and Poke and co-founded and creatively led another two: de-construct and SOON_. He has always been driven by the ambition to create visually delightful yet highly usable design solutions that deliver results. Fred collaborated with clients such as the Barbican, VW, Panasonic, BBC, Mulberry, Vince Frost and RA – just to name a few – winning over 30 international design awards in the process.
