BIMA (the British Interactive Media Association) has been holding an annual award ceremony celebrating the best in British tech and digital innovation since the mid-1980s. This year, however, marked the biggest change in the awards’ history with a stripped back process and one simple goal: to find the ten best digital-first projects that define what exceptional looks like in 2021.
These are the projects with the power to shape the UK digital industry and inspire a generation of digital professionals. BIMA has just announced the ten change-making winners:
BIMA MD Matt Sullivan said, “We asked for bold, brave, breakthrough projects that brought real change, delivered with impact. We expected brilliance, but I’m not sure even we expected such an overwhelmingly high calibre of entries.
“Through their digital-first work, our members have changed lives. In some cases they’ve saved lives. And the technical and creative skill on display has been genuinely inspiring. We launched BIMA10 to be the standard bearer for the very best in UK digital. On this evidence, it’s unquestionably mission accomplished.”
