We sat down with to talk to Rob Massa, Chief Revenue Officer at Forecast about what they do, their expansion and how BIMA is making a difference for him and the team:

1.      Give us the elevator pitch for your company.

2.      Briefly, tell us about a typical day – or – tell us about something interesting/unusual/fantastic that happened this week.

My typical day begins waking everyday at 5am to get a workout in before my kids wake up. It’s my time to clear my head and think about what I need to accomplish for the day.

I wear many different hats given my remit includes Marketing, Customer Success and Sales. Naturally, this makes every single day very different. I am working hard right now on how we can marry these three teams as closely together as possible. I spend a lot of time working each day with each of the leaders of these departments to ensure we are all running parallel paths.

This week, I am working hard on the plan for US expansion – obviously a very exciting time for Forecast. Our global outreach has yielded a plan to expand into the US later in 2021 where we plan to open a big office in New York. This will enable the company to accelerate growth even further.

3.      What do you love most about what you do?

Probably comparing where we were 12 months ago. London had just gone into lockdown and it was basically just me and our CEO Dennis, and our People Director Chiara building the commercial team from scratch. Now, we’re 75 people strong across London and Copenhagen, have accomplished crazy growth with big ambition for the future. There’s a million things going on at once, but that’s definitely what I love the most about being CRO at Forecast.

4.      What’s the best thing about being a BIMA member?

The biggest benefit for us has been the people. We love meeting like-minded industry peers that we can share information with.

There are so many opportunities to exchange ideas, influence peers and help each other succeed, which enables us to strengthen relationships with other thought leaders in our industry.
