Walkers Win Live recognised by jury as a campaign at the forefront of mobile advertising.

The Drum Mobile awards have been announced, with independent global creative agency AnalogFolk taking home the best Consumer/E-commerce mobile campaign for its project Walkers Win Live. Celebrating the campaigns, brands, and agencies at the forefront of the mobile industry, the Drum Mobile Awards specifically recognises brands and agencies that are leading the way in mobile advertising.

Walkers Win Live is a weekly prize draw that is the first Facebook competition to connect digital entries to a live TV draw. Entrants scan a Facebook code, found on packs of Walkers, with the Facebook Messenger app to open the entry chatbot. After taking entry details, the chatbot entertains people during TV ad breaks with a gameshow-style quiz, including questions tailored to that evening’s TV.

Winners are contacted via the chatbot and email, whilst brand ambassador Gary Lineker opens an envelope during the final ad spot of the evening to reveal the winner’s name.

“We’re honoured that Walkers Win Live has been recognised by the Drum Mobile Awards as an example of excellence in mobile advertising.” says Ete Davies, Managing Director London. “Across the agency we’ve been focusing on customer experience innovation and helping our clients create additional revenue streams by engaging consumers through new mediums, and I’m delighted that our work in this area is being recognised. A big congratulations to PepsiCo and all of the Folk involved.”

The latest award win adds to the growing number of accolades for Walkers Win Live which include a Drum DADI Award, Gold IPM COGS for Digital Award, Effective Mobile Marketing Award and Drum Social Buzz Award.
