Attract

Ensuring the industry is attractive for great talent to come and stay.

Attract

BIMA works to ensure the industry attracts and keep great talent. We break this down into two key areas of attracting talent and ensuring your people have the skills they need to thrive.

Attracting talent

It all starts with Digital Day. Every November we partner BIMA members with over 200 schools and inspire 10,000 students to think about a career in digital. In 2022 we are also launching a series of work experience opportunities and piloting parents evenings in the same schools.

In 2022, we’ve launched the BIMA Bridge Council, bringing together BIMA members who want to support or create opportunities in UK Digital for people arriving in the UK as refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.

Being a welcoming community

To attract and keep talent, we promote a diverse, inclusive, and responsible industry community in the UK. We have steering groups on Young Talent and Wellbeing, who support BIMA members with taking action to create improved mental, physical and financial wellbeing. Our HR peer group share best practice to ensure our members are progressive employers.

We also have the BIMA jobs board to help fill existing talent opportunities.
