We sat down with Mark Raymond, Co-founder of Anything is Possible to discover why they have decided to take part to the BIMA Next Generation Digital Leaders Programme this year, giving the opportunity to five interns to work in five BIMA member agencies, spending one month in each agency learning a specific role.

1. Introduce yourself.

Hi, I’m Mark Raymond – co-founder of Anything is Possible, an advertising agency launched in 2018 with offices in Brighton and London that has gone through rapid growth and partners with a great roster of brands. As co-founder I head up our Client Planning team and commercial operations in the agency, with overall responsibility for delivering an amazing client experience for our fantastic clients.

2. Give us the elevator pitch for your company.

Anything is Possible transforms brands’ marketing effectiveness through the integration of Media, Tech and Creative, underpinned by Data and Insights.

3. Tell us about a typical day – or – something interesting that happened recently in your company.

In March, we were incredibly excited to be nominated for not just one, but three UK Company Culture Awards in 2023! Our company has been recognised for our exceptional workplace mental health awareness initiative, employee development program, and overall company culture. The UK Company Culture Awards celebrate businesses that are creating truly exceptional work environments. We know that happy colleagues are the secret formula for creating what we’re really all about – happy clients (with transformative Media, Tech and Creative campaigns).

4. What do you love most about what you do?

Creating long term relationships with clients, where we’re seen as a trusted partner and not as a supplier. Partnerships that drive growth and success for both parties. We’ve worked with our biggest client since we founded, growing in tandem over five years.

5. What is your motivation or reason for being part of the BIMA’s Internship programme?

We’ve been BIMA members since we launched the agency, attended (and won!) BIMA awards. I’ve judged the BIMA 10’s and my co-founder Sam was inducted in the BIMA 100. Our teams have also taken part in the annual BIMA digital days, so I jumped at the chance of being involved in the Internship programme. The initiative is a great springboard to support new talent coming into the industry and we’re very excited to be a part of it. Hopefully we’ll find a future Possiblist too!

6. What do you hope the Interns will gain from the experience?

It’s such a great opportunity for the interns too – they’ll get to spend time working in five different agencies, learning a lot of new skills to propel their career forwards. Working across a diverse group of agencies will also help them uncover their true passions. Hopefully this programme will be a life changing experience for all of the interns.

7. How do you help your employees develop and grow?

Learning and development is a key part of Anything is Possible’s DNA – our agency holds the coveted IPA Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Gold, as we’ve demonstrated our commitment to creating a culture of learning. As mentioned earlier, one of the three categories of the UK Company Culture Awards 2023 is the Best Agency Employee Development Programme category. We have been nominated for our entry ‘Mastery, autonomy and empowerment through learning.’ This program was designed to give our employees the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in their roles while also providing opportunities for personal and professional growth:

We’ve got an effective framework for taking great people and making them even better. And I can’t wait to help the Interns get started on their journey through the industry!
