BIMA Perspective Council

Understanding people is at the core of so much digital technology. We are helping to bring the research to life.

About the council

Our mission

To examine, discuss and debate the impact digital media and technology has on people and society.  We explore the good, the bad and the “we aren’t quite sure yet” by asking the difficult and awkward questions too many in the digital industries are afraid to ask.

Who we are

A collection of marketers, strategist, creatives and academics from across digital. We love the industry and think it can be a powerful force for good, so have come together to champion this whilst confronting some of the less positive effects and influence digital companies, media, tools and services have on human behaviour and the world around us. We all have different vantage points and opinions, and we aren’t afraid to share and debate them.

What we do

We create thought provoking points of view on the industry and engage the wider community (BIMA members, associated agencies plus schools and universities) in debate through:
• Articles and white papers.

• Round tables.

• Panel discussions and talks.

• Video debates.
