Rachel is an employment associate and joined Deloitte Legal in the Employment Team in February 2001. She has 4 years experienced as a qualified employment lawyer and advises clients on a range of employment related issues, from day to day HR matters to employment litigation. Rachel advises on the lifecycle of employment, from employee recruitment and onboarding process, disciplinaries, grievances and performance processes as well as termination management and settlement. Rachel has experience in redundancy processes, business restructuring and TUPE transactions. She also regularly drafts and advises on employment documentation, including employment contracts, policies restrictive covenants and settlement agreements. Rachel has substantial experience in employment litigation and in particular has been involved in complex whistleblowing and discrimination claims. Rachel also provides advice on employment related data protection issues, including GDPR compliance and the conduct of Data Subject Access Requests, as well as the employment aspects of corporate transactions.
