Rachel joins BIMA as Community Lead for Scotland. Her focus is on events and marketing whilst working with the BIMA Scotland Council and, most importantly, the members themselves to deliver a forward thinking programme which advances the value and impact of the digital sector.
Passionate about the importance of the arts and creative industries, Rachel cut her professional teeth across the publishing and tech start-up industries before going on to launch her own business – the triple stranded boom saloon, boom projects and the boom room – whilst supporting Edinburgh’s creative sector through her role at Creative Edinburgh. boom’s work to democratise creativity for good touches communities around the world, experience Rachel will bring to the table as she works to supports BIMA’s growing community in Scotland.
