Biography

James co-founded MMT Digital, part agency, part consultancy, to help clients build digital products that transform business performance. Working with organisations to drive innovation, increase speed and quality of delivery, improve customer experience and reduce infrastructure costs, James advises them on the right platforms, tools and approach to help them drive the most value to their customers at speed and scale. Over the last 20 years, he has worked with clients such as Vodafone, BP, Translink and comparethemarket.com to digitally enable their businesses and upskill their in-house teams. With a degree in computer science and cybernetics, James is regularly invited to speak, judge and write about digital transformation, emerging technologies, innovation culture, lean product development and agile delivery. 

In 2019 he took MMT Digital Net Carbon Negative, open-sourcing all our models and processes into a starter pack to help other companies join the movement. James was appointed co-chair of BIMA’s first Sustainability Council earlier this year.
