After graduating with a degree in Marketing, Dan started his career at Digital agency Outside Line.

In his 6 years at Outside Line, Dan was responsible (alongside the two Founders) for the growth of the agency through new business acquisition, growing existing clients and developing an agency-wide approach to communications. Some of Dan’s key clients included Beck’s, Budweiser, Lurpak, Cravendale, Rekorderlig Cider and British Gas. Throughout this time Dan straddled both Creative and Strategy to offer a complete digital service to his clients.

In 2012, advertising agency Saatchi & Saatchi acquired Outside Line as it looked to increase their specialist digital presence. In a Creative Director role, Dan worked across a broad range of new clients including Toyota Europe, VISA Europe and Direct Line. In recent years, Dan has overseen digital campaigns and communications for Asda, with relevant creative designed to drive product and price in an ever-changing social landscape.

Some of Dan’s proudest moments have come in the development of Swedish brand Rekorderlig Cider. In the 7 years working on the account – across two different agencies – Dan has played a significant role in the global growth of the brand – from a successful UK import worth £20m to a brand with a global value in excess of £500m. Much of this growth has been attributed to the “Beautifully Swedish” brand essence as well as the award-winning TV spot “Silver Skaters”.
