London, 22nd August 2024 — The British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) is thrilled to announce that the RSPCA will be the third Digital Day Challenge Partner for 2024.

Since 1824, the RSPCA has been at the forefront of animal welfare, helping to transform the lives of millions of animals for the better. We are excited to welcome the RSPCA as one of this year’s Digital Day Challenge Partners, joining Microsoft and Burberry.

The RSPCA, alongside the other challenge partners, will collaborate with our sponsors, EPAM Systems Inc. and Human First Collective, to develop and present this year’s Digital Day challenges.

Becky Simms, CEO of Human First Collective said: “We’re really excited to have our client RSPCA involved with the 2024 BIMA Digital Day. Our agencies have been supporters of Digital Day for many years now and are always amazed and inspired by the work the students do. Having been involved in conversations about this year’s challenge from RSPCA we’re really excited to see how the students tackle the challenge. BIMA Digital Day is such an important initiative to help inspire our future colleagues and leaders within the digital sector.”

“We are honoured to have the long-established and well-respected RSPCA as a challenge partner for Digital Day 2024. The RSPCA is focused on the welfare of all animals and we are excited to work with them. Digital Day involves thousands of students each year, aiming to educate, inspire and inform them of the potential careers in the digital and creative tech sector. Engaging so many young people in such a meaningful cause really makes Digital Day 2024 one to be part of!” said Louise Lamb, Digital Day Coordinator at BIMA.

Last year’s Digital Day saw impressive participation, with over 200 schools and approximately 12,000 students working with more than 150 digital and tech companies within the BIMA community. It was our biggest Digital Day yet.

The 13th edition of Digital Day is taking place on 13th November this year and applications are now open. Join us in inspiring the next generation of digital talent—sign up for Digital Day by 23rd August.
