The Cassette Group was approached by healthcare company Baxter after the company realised there was potential to improve and increase the amount of high-quality training it could provide to healthcare practitioners.
Specifically, Baxter provided in person training on the PrisMax 2 machine – a system that provides individualised and effective therapies for critically ill patients. However, the training was always delivered face-to-face, which meant taking care workers away from their patient focus and taking up a longer period of time.
Working together, the Cassette Group developed a 3D digital twin of the PRISMAX 2 machine. The simulator is used to provide accessible training via virtual reality headsets and over the web, through a complete replication of the machines’ user interface, physicality, and functionality. This resulted in more care workers being able to go through with the specialised training and is being utilised across the world and in 10 languages so far.
