Earlier this year we conducted our annual outlook survey to find out the expectations of senior management and owners of media and marketing services businesses concerning the future financial prospects of the industry.
Most within the sector seem to be fairly positive about the outlook for the year ahead in terms of both revenue recovery and profit margins, with some of the effects of the restructuring and cost savings still being felt.
While the general feeling is optimistic, as anticipated, the challenges for the year and beyond appear to be the lasting impact of the pandemic – particularly its impact on the wellbeing of staff, as well as the general impact on the economy and client spend.
