We sat down with Jon Mason, Founder and Owner of Jollywise, to discover why Jollywise has decided to take part to the BIMA Next Generation Digital Leaders Programme this year, giving the opportunity to five interns to work in five BIMA member agencies, spending one month in each agency learning a specific role.

1. Introduce yourself.

Hello My Name is Jon, and I’m the founder and owner of Jollywise. I’m a creative producer at heart and get excited about telling stories.

2. Give us the elevator pitch for your company.

We are wonderfully talented team of creative technologists who love to play where digital intersects with Families children and entertainment. We make lovely stuff.

3. Tell us about a typical day – or – something interesting that happened recently in your company.

We’ve just put the finishing touched to a new game for Blue Peter, and we’re currently working on 3 new projects to help kids understand climate change better. No day is TYPICAL.

4. What do you love most about what you do?

We make a difference to kids and their families.

5. What is your motivation or reason for being part of the BIMA’s Internship programme?

We want to inspire the next batch of digital creatives.

6. What do you hope the Interns will gain from the experience?

Passion and belief they can carve out a brilliant career for themselves.

7. How do you help your employees develop and grow?

We have a wide variety of projects to get stuck into, so every day is a bit different. We encourage our teams to push themselves and take on work that is out of their comfort zone.
