Innovation Fatigue: Are Agencies Struggling to Innovate?
A Roundtable Discussion for Agency Leaders
Overview
Once known as the engines of innovation – experimenting with new technologies and creative problem-solving models agencies now find themselves in a shifting landscape. Procurement pressure, pricing challenges and a move towards lower-risk, subscription-based models may be limiting the space for bold experimentation.
Is “innovation fatigue” setting in across our sector?
BIMA is convening a small group of agency leaders for an open, Chatham House-rule discussion to explore this question in depth. Together, we’ll look at how the innovation landscape is changing, where the barriers lie, and what’s needed to re-energise creative innovation across the UK’s digital and marketing agencies.
This roundtable forms part of a wider qualitative research initiative being undertaken in partnership with national innovation bodies. The insights gathered will help refresh and expand their understanding of your worlds and help businesses access the support they need to innovate.
