Anne Stagg, CEO of Digitas UK
Anne Stagg is the CEO of Digitas UK, joining the agency in July 2025. In her role, Anne is responsible for supercharging growth and positioning Digitas as the connected experience company within Publicis Groupe UK – bringing together data, creativity, and technology to deliver meaningful, measurable outcomes for clients.
Stagg joins from Dentsu where she was CEO of the CXM (customer experience) practice across the UK and Ireland and Merkle CEO. She also sat on the Merkle European leadership team. With a career spanning more than 30 years, Stagg was influential in shaping Dentsu’s approach to customer engagement, drawing on her extensive expertise in data, technology, and creative strategy. She joined Dentsu in 2019. During her time there, she also led multi-disciplinary, multi-market teams across consulting, creative, planning, technology, and data — helping major brands transform their customer experience strategies through a data-informed, insight-led approach.
Prior to Dentsu, Stagg was managing director at Indicia and chief client officer at parent company KMMS where she was responsible for driving client growth and satisfaction and spearheading business development across agency services, creative production and retail activation. She is a seasoned pitch leader and business integrator, with a proven track record of consulting with C-suite leaders to unlock commercial growth.
Anne spent her career in data driven marketing in CRM first at Experian then as board director of client services and analytics at more2. |Anne was responsible for consulting with Csuite clients shaping their business and client strategies to accelerate growth. As trusted advisor Anne still spends a significant amount of time with clients setting the shared strategic direction
Known for her energy, optimism and clarity of vision, Stagg is a people-first leader who believes that strong cultures build strong work. She is passionate about talent development and coaching, and has built a reputation for leading high-performing teams that thrive across disciplines and geographies.
