In this in-person breakfast session chaired by Esther Carder, Media Partner, Moore Kingston Smith we will be delving into rising costs, wage inflation, and how that translates into fees and charge-out rates, Client budgets/how quickly they are signing off on new projects Talent scarcity and what people are doing to attract talent.

We will discuss how agencies deal with this issue and strategies and tactics that might help minimise the impact for agencies today as well as protect for tomorrow.

Esther has some 28 years of experience working with owner-managed businesses and has been a partner specialising in the media and marketing services industry for 21 years, an area she is passionate about. She describes the sector as not only interesting but motivating because of the energetic and entrepreneurial people it attracts. In her own words: ‘If there can be a sexy area of accountancy, then media is it!’

Esther has responsibility for a portfolio of clients in the marketing services sector. As well as advising on routine areas of compliance such as audit and tax, she also advises regularly on specialist areas, including employee incentive schemes, EOTs, strategic advisory services and valuations. She also works closely alongside M&A transactions, advising on pre-sale grooming and tax planning, company restructures and due diligence.

Esther is the Treasurer of BIMA. She also speaks regularly at seminars, is widely quoted in trade press and is involved with the scrutiny of the submissions to the annual PR Week Top 150 and Design Week Top 100.
