Cyber-Duck recognised for having ‘Very Good’ levels of employee engagement… by being awarded a coveted 1 Star accreditation by Best Companies Organisation’s commitment to employees sees it awarded coveted workplace accolade.

Cyber-Duck a leading digital transformation agency, has been recognised as a well led and well managed organisation demonstrating ‘very good’ levels of employee engagement, despite the current unprecedented circumstances.

The organisation, which was established in the UK but now has a global workforce of ‘Ducks’, has been certified by Best Companies and recognised for their commitment to employees, with a 1 star accreditation rating.

Throughout the pandemic, Cyber-Duck have ensured the mental and physical wellbeing of their employees is paramount. To achieve this, they implemented several initiatives, from regular meetups on Zoom and flexible working arrangements to sessions with a qualified psychologist and free weekly yoga during the height of lockdown.

They also introduced an ‘It’s OK’ policy. This outlines that if staff feel demotivated, need time away to look after children or to take deliveries, then, it’ OK.

Cyber-Duck says increasing the scope, transparency and regularity of their company announcements meeting is the best thing they have done for employee engagement during these difficult times. Their CEO takes this opportunity to interact with employees on both a professional and personal level, being realistic and transparent about current revenue, pipeline, lead generation and the potential effects of the pandemic.

Danny Bluestone, CEO, said: “Our diverse and global team at Cyber-Duck is thrilled to be accredited as a Best Company. Our digital transformation agency has grown organically from one person in 2005, to 70 today. Founded in the UK, we are now an international business and everyone works remotely due to the pandemic. It is vital that our remote team can feed back on their wellbeing, wants and needs. As an ISO-certified digital agency, the team’s wellbeing is paramount and the latest survey data will help us to continue to improve. We selected the Best Companies Accreditation programme due to their unparalleled reputation as the pioneer of team engagement surveys.”

Best Companies has over 20 years’ experience in helping organisations measure and improve employee engagement using a robust methodology, with their accreditation standard certifying excellence in the workplace since 2006.

Jonathan Austin, Founder and CEO of Best Companies, said: “Well done to Cyber-Duck on their fantastic achievement. Their 1 star accreditation represents a level of employee engagement that many organisations strive for. It demonstrates that they genuinely value their employees and have kept them at the forefront of all they do at a time when it means more than ever before. Congratulations to all involved”.
