Re.Think Sensitive Skin (Dr.Jart+ Cicapair) by Impero

Dr.Jart+ is an innovative Korean skincare brand (acquired by The Estée Lauder Companies in 2019) that built its popularity for its high-efficacy, sensorial products through immersive brand experiences that bring together science and art. IMPERO was tasked to launch Dr.Jart+ in the UK, and build a cult following around hero products in the Cicapair range.

However, it was January 2021 and the entire nation was in the heights of the Covid-19 pandemic – no one was leaving their homes, let alone heading to a brand experience.

We thought if our audience couldn’t experience Cicapair in the real world, we’d bring the world of Cicapair to them, using the immersive power of AR. Collaborating with ground-breaking digital artist, REK0DE, we created a surreal and captivating world that we could never have created in real life.


Besides an AR portal into the world of Cicapair, we also launched three product-led AR experiences that also allowed consumers to learn about each hero product’s benefits, ingredients and instructions for use. These experiences were given to press and influencers (to build pre-launch hype), then put into consumers’ hands to spread online across social media.

The result? A beauty launch campaign like no-other.
