Press Release: 12 March 2018
BIMA is the home of Britain’s digital community, driving innovation and excellence across the digital industry, leading new thinking, and championing the British digital sector on the world stage. At the heart of its strategy are its Councils and Think Tanks.
Their introduction during 2017 helped to develop BIMA’s geographic reach and inclusivity whilst sharpening its focus in the key areas that affect the industry.
Already, BIMA Councils and Think Tanks represent the North of England, Scotland, diversity, Ai, immersive technology, creativity, tech, universities, client services and young talent. With three more planned to launch during 2018, BIMA is now seeking expressions of interest from passionate experts in their digital field who want to shine a spotlight on vital areas of the industry and lead the debate within the sector.
“Our Councils and Think Tanks are already helping to set the agenda across a range of industry issues,” Natalie Gross – BIMA Co-President
“Our chairs are vital in that process and we’re extremely lucky to have people at the very pinnacle of their respective fields leading our Councils and demonstrating the value of Britain’s digital sector on the world stage.”
Yet Natalie stresses that being a BIMA chair is not without its personal benefits. “Getting involved can mean the chance to network, develop skills, build influence, champion the issues that matter most to you and grow the profile of you and your organisation. It’s challenging work, but it’s immensely rewarding.”
Applications are open until 4 April 2018 and candidates can find more details and an application pack here.
