BIMA has joined forces with Impact Futures, BIMA Upskilling Expert and the UK’s fastest growing training provider, to help BIMA Members invest in and develop their teams. Together, we invite BIMA Members to utilise the BIMA Business Academy for fully government-funded training for your staff.

Each training course focuses on developing individuals’ skills and abilities by combining practical work experience with online learning to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and competencies to excel in their roles.

These courses provide a recognised qualification designed to enhance the skills, knowledge, and competencies of individuals.

BIMA Level 3 Business Administrator

Develop, implement, maintain and improve administrative services

What to expect?

This level 3 training programme develops the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to develop, implement, maintain and improve administrative services.

It also supports in your progression to management responsibilities, and develops highly-transferable skills that can be applied in all sectors.

What will your learn?
  • Manage documents and records
  • Build relationships and communicate
  • Manage tasks, projects and priorities
Entry requirements

You must have been a UK, EEA, or EU resident for at least the past three years to undertake this training programme.

In addition, you must be able to commit to the full length of the programme, and be able to meet the programme modules through your job role.

If you are aged 16–18 and do not have a Level 2 qualification or equivalent (GCSE grade 4/C) in Maths and English, you will be required to work towards achieving these qualifications as part of your training programme.

For those aged 19 and above, completing Maths and English (Functional Skills) is optional and not a mandatory requirement to complete your programme, however – this needs to be discussed and agreed with your Employer.

How will you learn?

Over the duration of 18 months, you will receive a combination of face-toface and online training and support.

You will undertake an online assessment that will help us to understand your learning style and needs, then we will tailor your learning experience accordingly.

We ensure that you stay on track to complete your programme on time by managing your progress through our state-of-the-art e-portfolio system, Aptem.

Duration

18 months.

BIMA Level 3 Customer Service Specialist

Customer, product and service expert

What to expect?

This level 3 training programme develops advanced skills and hones knowledge and behaviours to be an expert in the organisation’s products and services. You will be a referral point who provides specialist information which supports sales, customer service and complaints teams in achieving key objectives.

After completion of this programme, you can join the Institute of Customer Service as an individual member at professional level.

You can then progress onto either our Level 3 Team Leader or Level 5 Operations Manager training programmes.

BIMA Level 4 Learning and Skills Mentor

Helping others to be the best they can be

What to expect?

This level 4 learning and skills mentor training programme supports individuals and groups with their learning and development towards agreed goals.

You will do this by working within ethical and legal frameworks to ensure a high standard of mentoring practice. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to inclusively meet the individual needs of the mentee. You will be committed to your own professional development and reflective practice as a mentor and within your sector.

It is suitable for people working in an environment in their organisation where they are the knowledgeable other. You will work in a variety of locations and environments where mentoring activity may be undertaken face to face or remotely

  • Plan, implement and monitor structured learning environments
  • Communication and mentoring relationships

BIMA Level 5 Coaching Professional

Enabling learners to build on existing skills and embrace new responsibilities in professional coaching

What to expect?

The Level 5 Professional Coaching training programme is designed to enable learners to build on their existing knowledge and skills and supports learners to develop new responsibilities for the role of a professional coach taking their first step into coaching of employees at various levels within the business. I

t is suitable for new and existing talent, within the organisation as long as they have the opportunity to act as an internal coach and/or deliver coaching in support of the organisations coaching and mentoring strategy.

At the end of this training programme, you will be awarded a Full and Relevant Level 5 qualification once a passing grade has been achieved at the EndPoint Assessment.
