The National Trust is a vital custodian of the UK’s national heritage, with 600+ locations. To widen its reach and appeal in the digital age, it turned to Valtech to restructure and rebuild its website to tackle longstanding UX, accessibility and sustainability issues. Over the last two years, we’ve built a relationship with the Trust based on mutual respect, kindness and collaboration. We’ve faced problems together, but we’ve overcome them thanks to a no-blame culture and brave decisions from the Trust’s leadership team – every single time.
It’s clear that everyone at Valtech and the National Trust values this partnership. The team has even participated in hackathons, mutual volunteering days and developed its own awards ceremony, dubbed ‘The Trusties’.
