London, 26th June 2025 — The British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) is excited to announce that HelloFresh, the world’s leading meal-kit company, will be one of the official Challenge Partners for the 2025 BIMA Digital Day, joining Aston Martin in helping to inspire the next generation of digital talent.

Now in its 14th year, Digital Day is BIMA’s flagship programme that introduces students aged 11–16 to the exciting world of digital careers. Each year, more than 200 schools and 150 digital and tech companies take part, giving thousands of students across the UK the chance to solve real-world digital challenges with guidance from industry professionals.

With operations spanning Europe, North America, Australia, and New Zealand, HelloFresh brings a global perspective to this year’s event. As a Challenge Partner, the company will collaborate with Digital Day sponsors EPAM Systems Inc. and Human First Collective to develop an engaging, hands-on challenge that reflects real issues faced by digital businesses today.

“It’s a privilege for us to partner with BIMA for their upcoming Digital Day. We are passionate about supporting the next generation of talent.” said Sam Day, Senior Director of Marketing at HelloFresh.

“BIMA Digital Day means so much to our team, and we are thrilled to have HelloFresh joining us to support the next generation. The day itself is an opportunity to open the eyes of thousands of students to the incredible career opportunities in the digital sector, giving them hands-on experience. HelloFresh will be such an interesting business to the students as it is at the intersection of digital commerce and food service, using technology and data to deliver personalised meal kits to millions of people every week,” said Becky Simms, CEO at Human First Collective.

Digital Day is more than a competition. It’s part of BIMA’s ongoing commitment to tackling the UK’s digital skills gap by sparking interest in tech and creative careers from an early age. With the UK’s digital sector growing twice as fast as the wider economy, initiatives like this are essential for building a strong, diverse talent pipeline.

“HelloFresh is an inspiring and engaging brand. They have demonstrated how cooking and food prep can be fun and accessible for everyone. We are delighted to have them as a challenge partner for BIMA’s Digital Day 2025, helping spark the imagination and creativity of the next generation.” said Louise Lamb, Digital Day Coordinator at BIMA.

BIMA Digital Day 2025 takes place on 12th November and applications are now open for schools and industry professionals who want to take part. Don’t miss this opportunity to inspire young minds and shape the future of UK digital.
