We love our clients. We love working with them, delivering projects for them and building long-term relationships with them. But, this can only happen because, at some point, we got to start working with them in the first place. This role is all about that: about how we convert prospects to clients, so that we can do great work together.
About true
We are a marketing and technology agency based in Bristol, with over 20 years’ experience working with brands like St Austell Brewery, Aardman, South West Water and UK Sport. We believe in Big Thinking, Made Real: that businesses need digital agencies who are strategically-led, creatively ambitious and able to deliver.
The role
Working alongside marketing, client services and the senior management team, this role is responsible for delivering a qualified pipeline of opportunities to meet the growth ambitions of the agency.
This is not just about volume, it’s about quality. Like all of us, we do our best work when we are in our sweet spot and we need someone who is adept at finding those opportunities, nurturing them and then working with the internal teams to convert them.
Key responsibilities
Generating leads from cold contact via multiple channels – phone, email, LinkedIn, and other sources
Working with marketing to define contact strategies and follow-ups off the back of content and events.
Maintaining and optimising a data-led approach to lead management – including all stages of the funnel from website visits and cold approach right through to conversion
Checking tender sites for appropriate opportunities and completing initial qualification
Managing and updating our profile on public and private tender portals
Defining new sources of opportunities and new tender portals
Reviewing in-bound enquiries and qualifying
Creating a consistent stream of well-qualified and quality opportunities to feed the Client Services team for conversion
Setting up and managing ongoing status reporting and MI on New Business performance
Working at true
Hybrid: like the rest of our team, this role will be based in our central Bristol office for at least seven days per month, as this creates the kind of working relationships that allow us to do our best work.
Active: everyone at true is enrolled in Active Teams a fun, team-building platform that encourages us to be healthier and more active.
Flexible we expect our team to be contactable between our core hours of 9:30 and 4:30, but outside of that, we’re flexible in how we manage our time.
Covered: as part of our commitment to health and wellbeing, we offer Vitality Healthcare to every member of the team
Rewarded: expect a competitive salary and up to 5% salary match for pension contribution
