AI Music and Hornet App collaborate to create the industry’s first in app AI-powered music solution for social video
London/West Hollywood Mar 24th, 2021 — AI Music and Hornet announced today a first of a kind partnership that will reimagine how users harness the power of adaptive music to create personalised soundtracks for their content, highlighting the importance of music in enriching user experience.
This makes Hornet, the world’s Gay Social Network, the first social network to feature adaptive music created with artificial intelligence, helping creators express themselves more authentically through video to the app’s exclusively gay audience of 30 million users worldwide.
This industry-first use of AI Music’s machine learning technology has been developed and licensed by Hornet exclusively for the applications of social networks. AI Music continues to pioneer the use of artificial intelligence and music, building products that enable deeper connections with content by infinitely scaling human creativity with adaptive music.
Starting March 24th using Hornet V7.1 for iOS, creators will now be able to add adaptive soundtracks to their video stories. The AI Music service analyzes the individual user’s video content, mood, spoken language and video sounds, along with the creator’s choice of music genre (spanning jazz to lounge or dance music) to deliver a custom-composed, royalty-free soundtrack. This feature will initially be free to use, and will be shipped on Android a few weeks later.
“We’re incredibly excited to partner with Hornet to enable their community to more authentically create and curate their own stories through the power of personalised music,” says Siavash Mahdavi, CEO at AI Music. “We believe music is one of the most powerful forms of self-expression and this collaboration will enable people to truly demonstrate their whole, unique selves. We also believe that human creativity drives the quality of our music and we’re honoured for Hornet users to empower our content with their creative input.”
“Now, gay influencers have even more ways to authentically express themselves by creating their own soundtrack, unique to them and their mood,” says Christof Wittig, founder and CEO at Hornet Networks. “Here, you’re creating the music rather than dancing to someone else’s tune. This exemplifies our mission to foster the authentic self-expression of gay men, and discover the many aspects of love, bonding and support that are inherent to them being a member of the 400 million-strong LGBTQ community.”
