1. Describe how it felt to be named as one of the BIMA 100?

Being recognised by peers (who know exactly what you do) makes the BIMA 100 feel incredibly authentic. Our industry can be a quirky one at times with many nuances, and it’s often misunderstood. So to be named by people who understand what you are doing and recognise that you are doing it well; that feels really good.

2. What’s the single biggest impact being part of the BIMA 100 has had on you?

Being acknowledged publicly as an industry leader definitely gives you the confidence to develop yourself further and be bolder with your opinions and conclusions. I think it gave me greater drive. Last year I was promoted to the Board at Cognifide and I feel that the BIMA 100 recognition played a part in building my confidence towards that.

3. How have you benefitted from interacting with other BIMA 100 members?

Although I already knew some of the BIMA 100 members, you are exposed to many more people who are at the top of their game. It is an amazing concentration of talent and available advice on pretty much anything. It is a huge mutual benefit to every member.

4. Complete the sentence: I would recommend nominating someone you know for the BIMA 100 because…

…the party is lots of fun! Seriously though, anyone who has really excelled and gone above and beyond could go on to reach even greater heights with the endorsement of their peers. It’s a great accolade for people in our industry in the UK.

5. Complete the sentence: Being a part of the BIMA 100 has been an invaluable experience because…

although I went into it with no expectations…. I came out of it with a different perspective on my career and our sector and some great contacts.
