1. Describe how it felt to be named as one of the BIMA 100.,

I was extremely excited to be named as one of the BIMA 100 in 2018! It was one of the proudest professional moments of my year – I felt very thankful of having been nominated by a colleague, and it was also a great feeling to be part of such an inspiring community of fellow BIMA 100ers.

2. What’s the single biggest impact being part of the BIMA 100 has had on you?

Being part of the BIMA 100 in 2018 increased my confidence and inspired me to make my work more visible, for example by putting myself forward for more talks and conferences. It was also a fantastic networking opportunity, both on the night and afterwards!

3. How have you benefitted from interacting with other BIMA 100 members?

There are so many inspiring people on the BIMA 100 list, and as soon as you’re named, you start connecting with them through social media and industry events. This opened up new opportunities for collaboration but also helped me expand my thinking by looking at what others were doing.
