Daniel Clayton has joined Onespacemedia’s technical team as part of its internship programme – the 11th intern to take part since the initiative began.

Daniel, a computer science undergraduate, joins the Onespacemedia for a three-month period having completed his second year at the University of East Anglia. Currently on a gap year, he is keen to develop his programming skills in a commercial environment and broaden his experience before resuming his course.

Along with a group of fellow students, he has twice competed in the FIRST robotic competition in New York, USA – one of two British teams to take part. The event attracts 60,000 entries from 62 countries and is the ultimate celebration of science and technology.

“When I first came across Onespacemedia I was impressed by the scale and quality of the work completed by a relatively small team. I wanted to be a part of that and to learn how these complex systems are built.” Daniel Clayton

James Cotton, MD and founder at Onespacemedia, commented “The next generation of designers and developers are the vital to the future of the creative industries and we are totally committed to providing mentorship to young talent. Daniel is incredibly capable and ambitious and we’re delighted to have him on board.”
