Worcester Bosch is one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of gas and oil boilers, and has a portfolio of heat pumps, hybrid systems and renewable technologies. In a highly competitive market, Worcester Bosch needed to update their native mobile app to become efficient, effective and productive for their installers.
Due to the complexity and interlinked dependencies of the ecosystem, the build of the new app came with a high degree of risk to ensure that the implementation of the new mobile app, not only caused minimal disruption to the business and their users, but also delivered significant improvements as well as improved customer satisfaction that builds on the legacy of the previous application.
The new app includes features unique to the boiler and water heating sector, including the ability to add sales leads to calendars and a guarantee check to confirm that a product is still under guarantee. After an extensive three month build period, the Worcester Bosch Professional App was released to an overwhelmingly positive response from installers.
The new app helped to deliver an NPS score of +29. Of the overall downloads of the app since launch, over 80% of users are still active more than 6 months after initial download.
