Robert is a Director in the Privacy and Data Protection Team within the Commercial Technology Group at Deloitte Legal. He has worked for a number of large clients in telecoms, entertainment, aviation, electronics, consulting, tax, and audit. Robert advises on data protection from a practical perspective having worked in-house for the last 10 years.
Robert joined Deloitte Legal in January 2022. He previously worked for Sony as Privacy Counsel advising both in the UK as a solicitor and as an attorney in New York. Robert is a member of the IAPP Privacy Bar Section Advisory Board 2022 -2023 and previously served as Co-chair for the New York IAPP KnowledgeNet Chapter.
Robert has chaired LGBTQ+ employee networks for large corporations in the UK and US, and is actively involved in the Interbank LGBT Forum.
