Lucy Sorell

Lucy joined Deloitte Legal as an Associate Director in the employment team in February 2021. She has 7 years’ experience as an employment lawyer, and has a particular interest in advising regulated firms in the financial services sector, as well as in data protection matters. Lucy takes a particular interest in advising regulated firms on their obligations under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime, particularly with regard to disputed dismissals, whistleblowing and regulatory references. She also has particular expertise in responding to employee data subject access requests. Lucy also has a great deal of experience in advising on all other day-to-day employment issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, exit negotiations, drafting contracts and settlement agreements, restrictive covenant disputes, TUPE issues and other employment-related support with corporate transactions, and Employment Tribunal claims.
