BIMA are delighted to announce that DJ Trevor Nelson will play a headline set at the BIMA Awards party 2016.

A pioneer in the urban music scene, Trevor started his broadcasting career at then pirate station Kiss FM before moving to BBC Radio 1 to present the first ever national RNB show ‘The Rhythm Nation’, and remained there for further 17 years.

He holds four MOBOS, an MBE for his work with the millennium volunteers, and a special gold lifetime achievement award for his services to broadcasting from the Sony Radio Academy Awards. Currently he hosts shows on Radio 1Xtra and on BBC Radio.

And back for a third year running DJ, broadcaster, photographer and all time BIMA favourite Norman Anderson AKA Normski will host the BIMA Awards party!
