About the role:
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Growth Executive to support the growth of our membership base and sponsorships. You will play a key role in ensuring a smooth and efficient sales process, supporting new member acquisition and paid-for sponsors.
BIMA is a small team and we need somebody that can operate at a fast pace and is extremely organised. Reporting directly to the Head of Growth, you will also work closely with events and operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, managing data, and contributing to a purpose-driven organisation.
BIMA works remotely with one office day in London every two weeks. Some UK travel will be required. (Fully-remote and part-time role considered).
The core areas of responsibility:
- Provide administrative support to the Sales/Membership Team
- Generate new membership leads via prospecting
- Process new member applications and coordinate onboarding for the Memberships Manager
- Prepare and issue membership proposals and organise new membership pitches
- Maintain accurate records of leads in a pipeline of opportunities for both memberships and sponsorships
Roles and Responsibilities:
MEMBERSHIP
- Pipeline Management including regular communication and nurturing of a pipeline
- Lead Generation – prospect by LinkedIn, email and events
- Lead Generation – from competitor associations
- Lead Generation – coordinating leads from marketing activity
- Lead Generation – tracking BIMA activities (events, awards etc) and identifying new membership leads
- Identify key decision makers at larger agencies and add to pipeline
- Build targeted lists of prospects by membership type
- Booking sales calls for the Growth Lead
- Attending sales calls
- Assist Marketing to update membership decks and webpages
SPONSORS AND PARTNERS
- Pipeline management including regular communication and nurturing of a pipeline
- Lead generation from competitor sponsors and partners
- Booking sales calls for the Growth Lead
- Regular reporting to the team on pipeline and progress
What we’re looking for:
We are after somebody that is used to a busy pace and is happy with managing a busy and varied workload. The role is ideal for someone that understands the sales process, can spot an opportunity and is commercially driven to achieve targets. Even better if you’ve been in the industry for a while and understand the agency and/or client dynamics.
Desirable:
- Experience working within the Marketing and Digital Industry (e.g. in a growth department or in a similar sales role)
- Amazing communication skills
- An interest in and a perspective on emerging technology and the Digital Industry
- Experience using CRM and project management software
- Basic design and Excel skills
