The release of the annual Gartner Magic Quadrant™ for DXP isn’t without its twists and turns. Most notably, Optimizely is now the highest ranking digital experience platform – ahead of Adobe, Acquia and Sitecore.
Gartner’s annual report compiles information on the leading digital experience platforms in the market, assessing them for their completeness of vision and ability to execute.
The report is a useful resource for digital and martech procurement leaders assessing whether to replatform their CMS/DXP, and evaluating the strengths and weaknesses of alternative platforms in the market, as compiled by a leading, independent analyst.
Gartner notes that by 2026, at least 70% of organisations will acquire composable DXP technology, as opposed to monolithic DXP suites, compared to 50% in 2023. One of the benefits of Optimizely is the completeness of its suite of products (e.g. personalisation, experimentation, DAM, CDP etc) with its flexibility to be configured in both a coupled, headless or hybrid headless manner, and has both a PaaS and SaaS offering. We recently sat down with Optimizely’s Senior Director of Product Management, Nazanin Ramezani, to discuss the release of Optimizely SaaS CMS and how the platform is revolutionising the headless CMS landscape.
As an Optimizely Gold Partner, we’re delighted to see Optimizely secure the top spot in the report. We’ve seen firsthand the value the platform has brought to our clients across sectors, including Mazda, The Royal Mint, Cyncly, Baringa and CFM International.
