Writing accessible software can be a daunting challenge. There are many accessibility needs we might take into account when developing software.

Our understanding of these accessibility needs and the best practises for accommodating these needs change over time. Furthermore, technology never stands still and, with new technology, comes new ways to help meet accessibility needs.

Together, these things can form a challenging barrier for anyone trying to make their software more accessible.

This is for: Developers, Designers, Product Managers and anyone interesting in accessible websites and software.

In this masterclass, Daniel Griffiths, Tech Lead at This Is Milk, will explain why you should care about writing accessible software and outline how you can begin writing accessible software in your organisations.

You will learn:

  • Why you should write accessible software.
  • Practical tips for writing accessible software.
  • Where to go next to learn more about writing accessible software.
  • How to incorporate accessibility into your development processes.
