Chris Olsen joins UniLED as executive advisor, growth and partnerships in the U.S.
UniLED Software has named Chris Olsen as executive advisor, growth and partnerships for its U.S. operations.
Reporting directly to CEO Ben Zloof, he will work closely with Jill Rothenhauser, who recently joined as U.S. head of partnerships, and the UniLED senior leadership team. Chris’s appointment reinforces UniLED’s plan to accelerate the strategic adoption of UniLED Software’s verification platform -UniLIVE – across the global out-of-home ecosystem.
In this newly created role, Chris will work closely with agencies, media partners, technology platforms, and brand partners to expand industry collaboration. As well as drive broader market alignment around trusted measurement and verification standards. Chris will also be responsible for identifying new commercial partnerships, advising on go-to-market strategy and supporting enterprise growth initiatives. Additionally, helping to position UniLED Software as the leading global verification provider at the center of the evolving OOH infrastructure landscape.
With 25 years of experience operating at the intersection of agencies, brands, and media owners, Chris’s appointment reflects a growing convergence between media strategy and media technology. He joins UniLED from Rapport. During his five year tenure as president, Chris was responsible for increasing revenue by 150%, margins by 75% and more than doubling billings. Additionally, what sets Chris apart is his razor sharp focus on fostering supportive working environments – having achieved the highest agency NPS within IPG Media brands.
Ben Zloof, CEO at UniLED Software explained: “We are incredibly fortunate to welcome Chris to the UniLED team. Chris brings a unique combination of agency leadership, commercial expertise and deep understanding of the OOH ecosystem that will help shape the next chapter of UniLED’s growth. His experience and perspective will be invaluable as we continue to evolve our offering and deliver greater value to agencies, advertisers and media owners through verification, optimisation and measurement. As OOH becomes increasingly data-driven, accountable and performance-focused, Chris will play an important role in helping UniLED support the industry’s continued growth by improving transparency, driving better outcomes and strengthening trust across the ecosystem.”
Chris added: “This is an exciting time for UniLED and the OOH sector as third-party verification enters a new phase of maturity. It is no longer about simply confirming what was booked played. UniLIVE is a vital addition to any smart agency’s tech and measurement stack by providing the verified data needed for informed decision making, future planning and the optimisation of DOOH campaigns. I look forward to working with the UniLED Software team and helping them facilitate growth in the U.S.”
