BIMA launches its latest industry-shaping councils
BIMA’s councils are where we explore new thinking, challenge convention and ensure representation and inclusiveness. Now, we’re excited to launch four brand new councils, each with a mission to prepare the industry for the future.
The new councils are:
Mission: To build a framework to champion change and encourage BIMA members to take action.
Co-chairs: Amy Williams, Co-founder, Good-Loop; James Cannings, Co-Founder, MMT Digital
Mission: To help members stand out, win the right clients and develop profitable long-term relationships in the UK and overseas.
Chair: Rebecca Crook, Chief Growth Officer at Somo
Mission: To bring the research to life that helps us understanding the people at the core of digital technology.
Co-chairs: Daryll Scott, Director Human Tech, LAB; Dimitris Pinotsis, Associate Professor (Senior Lecturer) University of London-City & Research Affiliate at MIT pinotsislab.com
Mission: To drive new thinking in paid media advertising ( e.g. PPC, programmatic/display) and SEO/’owned media’.
Chair: Rick Lamb, MD UK, Jellyfish
Other council changes
BIMA’s Young Talent and Universities councils will merge to become the Education Council, chaired by Lawrence Zeegen, Pro Vice-Chancellor Research, Innovation and Enterprise & Professor of Illustration at Ravensbourne University London.
The existing AI Think Tank will now be co-chaired by: Sandro Petterle, Technology Director at Rufus Leonard, and Simone Babb, AI / ML Commercial Product Lead, Digital Catapult.
We’d also like to thank Pete Trainor, Amanda Follit and Tiffany St James who established, chaired and steered the AI Think Tank, Young Talent and Universities councils so brilliantly.
