Monday saw our friends at Moore Kingston Smith kicked off discussing the financial resources that you can access for your business due to the outbreak. They also answered your questions on various areas of government support including:
• HMRC time to pay arrangements
• SSP refunds

• Coronavirus business interruption loan scheme

24 March 2020 – BIMA Hangouts | The Law, Your Business & Coronavirus
In this session saw Andy Moseby joined by his colleagues as well as John Haggis of Kepler Wolf as they looked at the legal implications of the current crisis for you and your business.
25 March 2020 – BIMA Breakfast Briefing | International Management, Expansion and Growth
In our Wednesday session, we were treated to experts from Mullenlowe Profero, Somo Global & Sagittarius as they addressed key issues such as:
- The practical steps you can take now
- Reframing business development in the current climate and building a robust growth plan for the long-term
- How to manage multiple offices and distributed teams
- How to address the cultural challenges of working in new territories
27 March 2020 – BIMA Hangouts | Protecting Mental Health in a Crisis
Our final session of the week delved into the crucial topic of managing the mental health of your team in the wake of this crisis. They also answered your questions, and explored issues including:
- Coping strategies for crisis
- How to spot signs of stress in others – and yourself
- Employer responsibilities
- Practical steps to improve your mental wellbeing
- Techniques to survive the mental stress of self-isolation or lockdown
31 March 2020 – BIMA Hangouts | Being the Leader Your Business Needs
In this session we explored what leaders need to be doing now and how their actions are impacting their business and the team within. Topics discussed:
- How can you ensure that your leadership matches your organisation’s requirements right now?
- What influence can you have in creating the right structure and culture?
- And when the pressure is on in new and unsettling ways, how can you ensure you rise to the challenge?
