It’s my last week at Anything is Possible!
This has been an incredibly busy month filled with learning, growth, and creativity. I’ve been introduced to a wide range of tasks and systems that were entirely new to me, from meeting client deadlines to contributing to in-house company designs. The trust placed in me by colleagues, who often approached me with requests for assistance, instantly made me feel valued and recognised for my work.
The internship here has been very creative, which has been wonderful experience for me. The Creative Director entrusted me with multiple creative briefs, and it has felt gratifying to have my creative efforts acknowledged and appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed creating an app logo, drawing inspiration from existing apps and illustrative logos to craft a unique and catchy design. Additionally, I developed a character design and concept creation of a series of games for a children’s brief. I also ventured into client work using Procreate, extending my skill set beyond traditional illustrations.
In collaboration with the social and content executive, I had the opportunity to produce graphics and illustrations for the company’s social media, which was not only enjoyable but also essential practice in adhering to existing brand guidelines, a skill I recognise as crucial for success when working with clients!
Whilst I’ve always considered myself a creative individual, this internship has taught me that I can also find enjoyment and expand my skills in other areas. I’ve been working closely assisting the comms planning manager and senior client partnerships executive, helping with client work in particular looking into media plans. Here, I have developed my research, blog writing, data input, and data analysis skills. Initially, I felt out of my depth using data heavy programs and analysing and comparing numbers but I soon got the hang of these tasks and now it feels like a breeze!
I’ve thoroughly enjoyed all the endeavours I’ve undertaken at AIP. I have also gained a taste of what it’s like to be an in-house creative and I am eager to continue this journey, doing what I do best, and I’m grateful for the opportunities and growth I’ve experienced during my time at Anything is Possible.
Thank you AIP!
