Age profiles in advertising reveal some uncomfortable truths

‘What happens to everyone over fifty?’ I’ve compared IPA members, WPP employees, accountants, teachers and the NHS to add data to the brouhaha caused by Mark Read’s comments about age and advertising.

Only 9% of WPP and 6% of IPA member employees are over 50.  The advertising industry compares badly to professions like Teachers ( Department for Education), Accountants (Financial Reporting Council) or the NHS workforce (NHS Employers).
