Andy Lawson is a seasoned technology leader with over a decade of experience driving digital transformation across the UK public sector. Before joining hedgehog lab, Andy led the UK Central Government business at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he worked closely with senior government leaders and departments to modernise legacy systems, accelerate cloud adoption and harness the power of data to deliver better citizen outcomes.
Passionate about helping the public sector embrace innovation, Andy believes in using technology not for its own sake, but as a catalyst to make a real difference in people’s lives. His experience and strategic insight position him to lead hedgehog lab’s growing public sector practice with purpose and impact.
As Director of Public Sector, Andy will lead hedgehog lab’s work with government and public service organisations, forging new partnerships, driving strategic engagements and guiding digital transformation initiatives that deliver tangible value to society.
