Sagittarius has appointed Simon Etherington as Executive Director of Strategic Partnerships to support the agency’s global expansion plans.
With 35 years industry experience, Etherington started his career at IBM where he worked for 10 years, and then a further 11 years at SAP where he ended up joining the SAP UK Executive Board for 4 of those years. Recently, he spent another 4 years as Managing Director at Sitecore UK where he developed a new Go To Market Strategy and grew the UK customer base from 223 to over 500 before the company was acquired in 2016.
“It’s an exciting time at Sagittarius with the last few years having seen us grow significantly. As we continue to grow, we acknowledge that the partnerships we have with organisations such as Sitecore and Microsoft are critical to our success. With Simon’s wealth of experience we hope to build on these existing relationships and develop new ones too.” said Paul Stephen, C.E.O.
Simon commented, “I’m proud to be part of Sagittarius at an exciting time in its development and I’m pleased to help drive its ambitious growth plans. Having worked with Sagittarius in my previous role at Sitecore, I think they are one of the few agencies in the UK that sit in a sweet spot between the consultants and the pure technical systems integrators. When it comes to large digital transformation projects you need a broad depth of marketing and digital expertise in order to be effective and deliver on the business objectives. With this in mind, Sagittarius has built an extremely impressive team in recent years and has something a bit unique in the agency space.”
Sagittarius has over 80 employees located across 3 UK offices, Ukraine and Sri Lanka and is one of the UK’s leading Sitecore and Microsoft Azure partners. It works with domestic and international brands who need help executing or formulating their digital transformation strategy. It has many clients in the Travel, Transport and Manufacturing sectors.
