Race of Champions is back and better than ever with the event headed to Mexico City in Latin America where the Nations Cup will take place between the 19th and 20th January.
Sagittarius is excited to be in the pit-lane for the 10th year in a row with a team of three locally on the ground in Mexico whilst a large and experienced technical team will be working hard to provide support from the UK to ensure the runs smoothly.
Race of Champions brings together the World’s most esteemed racing drivers to compete in a head to head race around a purpose-built track in battle for the Nations Cup on the Friday and the ROC on the Saturday. Confirmed drivers include David Coulthard, Sebastian Vettel, Mick Schumacher amongst others, you can find the full list of drivers here.
To support the events multidisciplinary management, Sagittarius will be delivering and supporting their exciting ‘minute by minute’ race software which allows, pit crews, marshalls, drivers, event organisers and global media outlets to ensure that the event runs to a tight timeline.
The software also delivers a ‘second screen’ experience offering fans a live streaming of the track side, including live race timings, results and stats.
Agency CEO, Paul Stephen, will be attending this exciting event managing race control in Mexico, alongside UX Lead, Alex Lee who will producing on site, including managing the website content, live streams and audience engagement, ensuring creative assets, photography and ensuring video content is shared with the globes media outlets. A strong technical team comprising of Richard Brisley, Bob Coppins and Jamie Donnelly will be managing and monitoring the ‘Minute-by-Minute technical delivery’ operation from back home in the UK across race weekend..
