Last night (Tuesday 10 May 2016) BIMA celebrated the newest incumbents of the BIMA 100 and two inductees of the BIMA Hall of Fame.
Online music platform SBTV founder and digital entrepreneur Jamal Edwards and social games company King CEO Riccardo Zacconi were inducted as the latest inductees into the BIMA Hall of Fame, joining the likes of Sir Tim
Zacconi is one of King’s founders and has served on the Board of Directors and as CEO since March 2003. The social games company King is famous for its Candy Crush app, which has taken the world by storm.
Edwards established the online music platform SBTV when he was 15 years old after he was given a camera as a present by his parents. He started filming and uploading videos to YouTube of his friends rapping on the estate where he grew up. The SBTV channel is hugely popular among London’s underground scene, as well as commanding a global youth audience.
