I have extensive experience helping organisations create seamless customer experiences, effective digital services and communications, plus new products and capabilities.
Currently, I work as a consultant directly with clients or through agencies seeking to augment their strategic, creative or business development impact. I review and design digital and customer strategies, facilitate design sprints and co-creation workshops, improve customer experience and communications, introduce new operating models / ways of working to develop in-house confidence, capabilities, innovation, and impact.
I also take on interim client-side roles. Recently, I worked on an interim basis as the Chief Digital Officer with Lambeth Council (2019-2020), Digital Director with the Prince’s Trust (2018-19) and Director of Digital Transformation with the Disasters Emergency Committee (2016-2017). Plus, I spent 5+ years in WPP’s MEC (now Wavemaker) where I led on digital strategy and established the agency’s social media practice.
Additional appointments and publications: Visiting Lecturer at the University of Greenwich since 2011. Fellowship Councillor, theRSA.org (2018-2020). Co-author: Beyond Clicks for Causes, Agile Digital Communications in Communicating Causes published by Routledge, June 2018.
